Fundraisers for the 2024 Season

Families are required to take part in at least one of the first three fundraising opportunities listed throughout the season. A $150.00 fundraising cheque (or cash) is required at the start of the season, and upon completion of requirements, the cheque (or cash) is returned.

#1 - Our Annual Bottle Drive - May 4th, 2024

#2 - Swim-a-Thon - June 10th, 2024

#3 - Yeti Cooler Raffle - Tickets sold from June 1st to June 24th.  Draw Date June 26th

#3 - *BONUS* 50/50 Online Raffle - Ongoing throughout the season with the draw taking place on July 6th 2024 at our home swim meet.

Volunteering

There are many opportunities to volunteer throughout the season.  

#1 - Home Swim Meet - our swim meet this year is July 6th.  It is basically all hands on deck during the meet.  From marshalling the kids, helping in the office, assisting with food, announcing...well the list goes on.  Mark the date off in your calendars because we will need you!

#2 - Officiating - we need YOU!!!  It takes a village to run a swim meet. Whether our home meet or meets that we travel to.  And it is a requirement from Swim Alberta that for every 4 swimmers we send to a swim meet that we also provide at least 1 official.  This could mean a safety marshall, timer, stroke and turn judge, etc.  And guess what....being on deck means you get the best seat in the house to watch the meet!  Courses are free, online, and take very little time at all!
