MEET THE COACHES 

HEAD COACH EMILY

Hi Gators! My name is Emily David and I’m delighted to be returning for the fourth year as the head coach for the 2024 season. This is my seventh season coaching and I am looking forward to continuing to build up the team and help every swimmer reach their swimming goals. Before coaching I swam with the Ponoka Gators for 10 years and had a blast experiencing the fun that summer swimming is. This winter I just finished my Third Year of Middle Years Education at Red Deer Polytechnic. Out of the pool, I enjoy spending my time near frozen water where I coach and practice figure skating. I can’t wait to get in the pool and am excited for everything that the season brings. 

COACH ASPEN

Hi, my name is Aspen and I will be the assistant coach this year. I am super excited to get to know all the new swimmers in the club and continue to work with our returning kids. I swam summer club for 13 years and loved every moment of it so I am really happy to have the opportunity to pass some of my knowledge onto this group. I hope everyone is just as excited as I am to enjoy a fantastic year and have lots of fun at swim meets!

COACH EDWARD

Hello everyone, I am Eddy and I am the newest coach for the Gators and I am super excited to coach. A little about myself is that I love to read and swim. I swam with the Gators for about three years and before that I swam with the Ponoka Pool Sharks. I'm super excited to stay with the team and keep all the fun going.
